The Glass Art Association of Canada unites a glass community spread across Canada and around the world. We offer those interested in the making, studying, and collecting of work with glass a global communication network.

Members are entitled to attend national conferences which provide opportunities for professional development through presentations and workshops. These conferences offer an excellent forum for members to network, to renew old friendships and develop new ones. Members can also participate in member exhibitions and are eligible to apply for juried exhibitions.

Members also have access to our online publication Canadian Contemporary Glass, which is also available to the world via this web site.  This features profiles of members and provides exhibition reviews, technical articles, and current news about glass in Canada. The e-magazine is published mainly in English. Some text is in French or is bilingual.

Through this web site members can showcase their work to an international audience using an Artist Directory Page. Developmental opportunities are also available to members through initiatives such as the annual GAAC Project Grants, available to both students and professional artists.
