LYNETTE RICHARDS was born in 1961 in Peterborough, and grew up in London Ontario. She graduated from HB Beal Special Arts in 1979 and spent a decade working in the Graphics/Printing trades.
She completed a 3-year apprenticeship in 2000 with Stained Glass Master Ted Goodden, where she learned modern and ancient techniques. Lynette uses only archival processes and treasures the original role of stained glass to tell stories of spirit. From her business Rose Window Stained Glass, she restores antique windows, creates original commissions, and teaches.
Lynette serves on the Organising Committee of the London Artists’ Studio Tour, the Centre for Creativity at King’s College UWO, the Women’s Spirituality Circle at Brescia College UWO, and coordinates the new London Stained Glass Guild.
Lynette is an Artist, a Quaker, a Feminist, a mother, and a Lesbian, and continues her studies in Creativity through these Spiritual lenses. She has recently completed Creativity and Meaning Coach Training with Dr. Eric Maisel.
