Christina Tatarnic is a proud Canadian Maker of Things! From an early age she had busy hands and they just got busier. Christina first fell in love with the heat and intensity of bronze casting. Craving more, she fell in love with glass.
Christina feels that fibre and glass are the perfect harmony of materials. She craves balance in her everyday life. This balance, she feels, keeps her vibrating at a high frequency so she can try to maintain a positive outlook. However, the universe is strange sometimes, and when things don't go as planned, Christina draws inspiration from life's descrepancies, human behavior, contradictions, popular culture, and her dream of being famous that never seems to die no matter how old she gets.
Christina completed Sheridan College's Craft and Design program in 2010. She looks forward to being challenged by herself, her art, and her materials for the rest of her life.
